Old Town Menyala

Old Town Menyala is a national and international video mapping competition, part of Jakarta Light Festival 2024. Its first edition, themed "Gema: Echoing Jakarta’s Identity," focuses on historic architecture, inviting creators to transform Fatahillah Museum. As a festival highlight, it showcases global talent, reinforcing Jakarta as a creative hub. The name reflects its location in Kota Tua and the word “Menyala” symbolizes how video mapping illuminates and revitalizes Jakarta’s heritage through a fusion of history and technology.
